Tetiana Shmatkovska – Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Economic Forum", PhD in Economic Sciences, Associate Professor. In 2009, she received the degree of PhD in Economic Sciences from the Specialised Academic Council D 36.814.02 (Lviv). In 2004, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree with honours in "Accounting and Auditing" (full-time studies) at Lutsk State Technical University (Lutsk). In 2005, she earned a Master’s degree with honours in "Accounting and Auditing" (full-time studies) at Lutsk State Technical University (Lutsk). From 2006 to 2008, she pursued full-time postgraduate studies.

Professional appointments
From 2009 to 2012, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Auditing at Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University. Since 2010, she has been an official opponent at the meetings of specialised academic councils for the certification of research staff (in Lviv, Uzhhorod, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil). Since 2012, she has served as Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting and Auditing (now the Department of Accounting and Taxation) at Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University (now Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University). In 2014, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Auditing. Since 2015, she has been a member of the jury of the second stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of research works of students – members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. During 2016-2017, she was Secretary and member of the Council of Young Scientists at Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University.

From 2016 to 2019, she was a member of the Scientific Council of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University. Since 2019, she has been: expert of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the section "Economics" (by competitive selection results); member of the editorial board of the international peer-reviewed journal “Journal of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University”; member of the editorial board of the international peer-reviewed journal “Journal of Lviv National Agrarian University. Economics of AIC”; member of the Organising Committee of the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Modern trends in the development of accounting, analysis, auditing, and taxation” (Department of Accounting and Taxation, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University) Since 2020, she has been a certified expert in accreditation of educational programmes of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance of Ukraine and Secretary of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. In 2021, she became a member of the Organising Committee of the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students “International economic relations of Ukraine in the context of integration processes: State, problems, and prospects for development” (Lviv National Agrarian University).

Since 2020 – Certified Agribusiness Professional Accountant (CAPA), according to the certification programmes of the Federation of Auditors, Accountants, and Financiers of the Agrarian and Industrial Complex of Ukraine with the support of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of NAAS (Certificate No. 200465 dated 13.08.2020); member of the Federation of Auditors, Accountants, and Financiers of the Agrarian and Industrial Complex of Ukraine (FABF AIC of Ukraine, membership certificate No. 02/09 dated 07.09.2020). From 2014 to 2020, she was repeatedly ranked in the TOP-10 of the faculty rating of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University (7th place in 2014-2015, 3rd place in 2016-2017, 10th place in 2017-2018, 6th place in 2019-2020) and in the TOP-20 (17th place in 2018-2019). In 2016, she received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor and became the winner of the competition “Best young scientist of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University” (2nd degree diploma). In 2018, she was awarded the Silver Badge of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University and an Honorary Diploma of the Volyn Regional Council. In 2019, she received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Head of the Volyn Regional Council.
