Startups: development trends and risks

The article points out the relevance of the development of startups, which are becoming widespread throughout the world. The main problem for the development of startup companies in Ukraine is the lack of state support and insufficient funding. Companies are interested in investing only in the best projects that will be profitable. It is the joint efforts of the participants in the process of development and commercialization of innovations that will lead to the effective increase of their development potential in the innovation projects implemented by them. The concept of a startup is studied and the author's formulated one: a startup is a new innovative structure that implements a business idea in conditions of uncertainty, which requires competent risk management. Features and advantages of the startup are highlighted: the key role of the project, globalization activities and global development of startups in the world. To find project investors, it is recommended to make a strategic search plan, analyze several similar projects and make an assessment. You need to use social networks, create your own website. The risks of startup formation are systematized, measures on the possibility of their elimination are given. The typical stages that a startup goes through in the process of its development are analyzed and the specific risks at each stage are identified. The main risks of development of innovative projects are highlighted. The efficiency of using innovative projects is shown.
