Trends for the development of fishery agricultural of Ukraine

The article substantiates the importance of the fish industry for the Ukrainian economy in the context of global integration processes. The tendencies observed in the market of fish catching during the last years have been investigated. Significant decline of industrial production of fish is proved, basic economic indicators are analyzed. The level and condition of the fishing industry of Ukraine against the background of other countries are analyzed. It was established that the main obstacles are the investment deficit, ineffective state influence on the stabilization and development of the industry, and as a result, low profitability of production, unfair competition, systematic price increases for the most important productive resources
