In this article, based on the theoretical analysis, approaches to understanding the essence of the concept of «organizational behavior», the objects of organizational behavior are identified and the directions of analysis and evaluation of organizational behavior are formed. The systematization of literary sources and approaches to the analysis of organizational behavior indicates the lack of research devoted to the development of directions of assessment of organizational behavior. The relevance of the solution to this scientific problem is that in the article on the axis of theoretical study, the key areas of assessment of organizational behavior are proposed: assessment of motivation and level of satisfaction of employees, analysis of conflicts and socio-psychological climate in the team. The study of the topics of theoretical and methodological principles of organizational behavior in the work is carried out in such a logical sequence: systematization of the interpretation of definitions «organizational behavior», forming approaches to understanding the essence of the concept of "organizational behavior", analysis of existing methods for assessing organizational behavior and justification of the directions of assessment of organizational behavior. The article presents the results of the analysis of theoretical and methodological principles of organizational behavior. Research results can be useful for practical use by managers who seek to increase the performance of personnel
