In the article the process of formation of innovative abilities of personnel, the content of the concept of “innovative potential of personnel” and its components are explored. Elemental components are selected: communicative, intellectual, natural, entrepreneurial and motivational. It is shown that the innovative potential of the personnel is a complicated category and depends on internal and external factors. The factors of influence on formation, development and use of innovative potential of the personnel are revealed.
